Sustainability
Good Architects naturally site their buildings and rooms according to Climate, the Environment, Sun, Shade and Heat Loads. Capturing Prevailing Winds for Cross-Ventilation, Planting Natural Native Habitats and Trees, Building with Natural Stones and Local Products, are all Good Practices, if not Best. It is a shame that for the past 80 years or so local tract housing, and poor Municipal Zoning controls hamper and sometimes prevent Good & Best Architectural Practices. However, I am a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council and do expect to Promote Sustainability in my work. Photos on this page show Florida, my home since 1993.
